An Authentic Scottish Experience

Here at the Averon Guest House we offer a truly Scottish experience at a great location to explore Edinburgh. We are in the West End of the city, not far from famous Princess Street, the premier shopping street In Scotland. Close at hand are numerous outstanding restaurants, theatres and the Usher Hall, the main concert hall in the city. We are only a five minute walk from the Edinburgh International Conference Centre which is located in the main financial district of the city

Rooms

Comfortable well appointed rooms with tea/ coffee making facilities . Most of our rooms are ensuite with toilet/shower.

Parking

We have a large car park suitable for all sizes of cars . We have special parking for meduim and large vans and also camper vans. We also have a special secure car park for motorbykes. We can supply motorbike chains for added security. We are in the city centre and parking is not permitted in the street so you can leave your vehicle safely in our car park and walk into the centre. We are only a 10 minute walk to Edinburgh Castle

Historic house and Scottish Music

The Averon Guest House is a historic house built in 1760 and you are invited to sample Scotland's rich musical heritage with a collection songs sung by Alan Cran. The music is accompanied by stunning high definition videos of Scotland and interesting anecdotes about the City. Our live music evenings are hosted 5 nights a week and are completely free to guests, you can even bring along a friend. The show starts at 9:30pm and lasts around 45min. Perfect for all Ages!
